Baby Blankets and the Garden

One of my favorite crochet stitches is the shell pattern, its easy and fast,

change the hook size, change the count, add a ruffle, a ribbon, a stuffed

animal and you have the perfect baby gift ~ I was busy this winter

The popcorn stitch is lots of fun for baby blankets, a tighter weaver, a warmer blanket

Thank you Deb ~ the yellow one has the thickest and curliest border – a favorite of me too

What inspiration you have in your garden! A lovely presentation of both, and the stuffed animals are pretty cute too! 😉

Thank you Kathy ~ I have really been working on the gardens this spring. I think baby blankets and flowers go hand in hand and a few stuffed toys are fun too!

What an amazing juxtaposition of the blankets and the flowers! Really neat approach. You certainly have been busy–are there that many new babies in your life?? I really love that bright yellow-green in the first photos–it just says “spring” to me!
