Hand Quilt Along: September Update

17

I am making steady progress on Wishing You Goodwill. The new plan from last posting; spending 2 hours each day on each project; was more wishful thinking than doable.

I did stick to my plan though, whether it was 10 minutes or half an hour, stitching did get done which meant progress was made and Goodwill was happy and smiling from her place on honor on the couch

Oh yes, I know about wishful thinking! Isn’t amazing, though, how even 10 minutes a day can create some momentum? During this busy season, I have worked from the angle, just do the next step, which has really helped me get off center on many fronts. Good Will is enjoying the attention!

Forget wishful thinking this was grandiose thinking, lol…but your right even 10 minutes has proven momentum worthy.

Thank you ~ This was a quilt top I picked up at my local goodwill store that I restored and am quilting. The colors and material choices were the original hand piecer. She certainly did do a nice job with her ~ thank you for stopping by.

Dang–every time I see this quilt, I love it more! And I don’t like purple, as a rule! PS–I like your couch, too!

I am not a purple lover, as a rule, myself 🙂 I initially felt the purple was out of place but it’s grown on me too. (thanks on the couch…)
