Sunday night our first snow hit us in the great northwest corner. It’s been a constant battle to keep the bird feeders filled. We knew it was coming and I was prepared. A first light dusting and a shake off of the bamboo was needed and each day since (kitty cat path)
More snow everyday but I am not complaining. My daughter in Alaska just chuckles and says I love it. My daughter in Okinawa cries and says I miss it and I say perfect time to hunker down and get a lot of crafting done.
Backyard stream is running high and strong

Lots is getting done on the Ornamental Pumpkin cross stitch and I hope to have the Capital T quilt top totally pieced together for our next show and tells (last postings pictures)

Adorable looking dog. I love all kinds of terriers, and they have good personalities, though my last one had a chewing habit – might have been the poodle in the mix, though. LOL Your snow looks beautiful from here, but I wouldn’t miss it if I were in Okinawa! Where is she? We were mid-island, north of Kadena for a couple of years. My older son was born at the Kadena AFB hospital. I’m glad you’re finding time to stitch. If it were about 75 and not buggy, I would think that bench by your creek would be a perfect stitching spot!

Hi Susan ~ They are living on Kadena base. Have been there 3 years with 2 more left to go. Both my grands were born on US military base hospitals ~ that’s fun we connected this way as well as with quilting and genealogy! My older daughter’s husband is now retired but they lived the military life as well- both husbands Majors. My son-in-law was and is over at the Bagdad Embassy when everything happened. A few tense days for us at home. He is not scheduled home till June so we are really keeping an eye on what is happening. Have a great week 🙂 Sharon
