SAL: Snowman & Reindeer Update

I have been working on a Dimensions Kit entitled Snowman & Reindeer since January. I am sharing this project with a bunch of other crafty bits ~ some hand quilting and junk journal making. Add in summer and lovely weather finally and it’s really hard to get to the projects but I made a huge effort this last week before posting. Here is the kit I am working on

This is where I was last time we checked in. I had gotten the reindeers head started and I felt like I had accomplished quite a bit.

And here is where I am now

I have the green reins to finish with all it’s sweet bells and then I can move up to the top. I was noticing also this time that the color floss given for the reindeer is considerably different then the packaged picture which is more on the gray/blue side. Not a big deal – just different 🙂

About the SAL

Please note this SAL is not accepting any more new members until further notice but this is what it’s all about anyway. This SAL (Stitch Along) is slightly different to other SALs in that we don’t all stitch the same design at the same rate. We choose ONE unfinished project, or ONE new one, and show progress of its completion over a series of three weekly updates. There are no deadlines and no set amount to stitch. The result is that the space in our drawers full of WIPs (works in progress) is gradually being freed up to store lots of new crafty goodness. It’s surprising how much motivation I’ve gained from being in this SAL.A
