Here is where I was with my Snowman & Reindeer X stitch last time we checked in. I was feeling fairly confident I could finish this for the holiday season. Now? Hmmm, just not sure with everything else I am working on.

I had quite a bit of encouragement to add the extra bird from the original pattern. I had been debating if I should. I took everyones advice and did. There he is on the top branch. I am continuing to fill in the background, I still need to add all the backstitching and there is still the snowman I am hoping to tweak a bit. Here is where I am now

Now and before picture

Below are the links to the others in this SAL and now I am off to check in on their projects.

I am trying to work on my piece an hour a day and find that it helps to stitch little & often for progress. Your snowman is coming along nicely and I’m sure you’ll have him finished before the end of the year.

I too find the hour a day the best for progress, I usually do that while watching Perry Mason reruns 🙂 This time he’s taken a backseat but I’ll be trying to get back into a consistent rhythm.

The background is filling in nicely and the backstitching along the way is making progress pop 🙂 Love seeing all your other crafting too!

Thank you Christina, I have been having some problems with following the pattern for the background but I think it is just fine and wintery looking.

Your snowman looks almost finished but I know how many hours the back stitching can eat up. Just enjoy the process. It’ll soon be finished 🙂

The little bird definitely adds more charm. Never hurts to slow down on a project for a bit… why burn yourself out.

That little bird seems to fade into the background so I am hoping the backstitching will really bring him into the light 🙂

Consistent progress is a good word for this x stitch but consistent in working on her, maybe not 🙂 but she is getting done

He’s gorgeous, it would be nice to finish him for Christmas, so long as it doesn’t add to the stresses of December 🙂

It would have been a shame to miss the little bird off. I do hope you achieve the happy dance for Christmas as it’s so pretty x
